Proposed Amendments

There are three proposed amendments to the Idaho State Constitution on the November 3rd ballot and all seek to deny electors the existing constitutional right to approve municipal debt. Vote against these amendments this November. Article 8, section 3 of the constitution gives municipalities (cities and counties) certain spending authority, but in each case those local governments must obtain “assent of the electors”.
